I have concluded

that invitations are time consuming annoying little buggers!
ok so maybe I went a little overboard on the invite design
but I was a bit bored with the "standard" ones I have been receiving lately

of the 4 other weddings in the last 5 months
2 have been the same colour- 2 sets of pink ones 2 sets of silver ones
2 have used the same paper in different colours -2 sets of roses and 2 sets of hearts
and all of them looked the same same shape, same ideas, same folders, same stickers.
people are also expecting this wedding to be purple- very purple
I am known for my purpleness

:D but I am being sneaky I don't want a wedding like everyone else's I don't want a wedding that everyone is expecting- no white dress- if we can help it not black suits either- no standard bunch of roses-
I want something unique meaningful and DIFFERENT
cookie cutting aint never been my thing
so bearing that in mind
so far, no purple in this wedding-
I may end up with bluey-purple or maroony-purple flowers
it will depend on what grows in my garden
( I'm attempting self harvesting ) LOL
which is funny if you know me and what I call my "black thumb"

anyhow
my invites are layers and layers and ink and ink and ink
a "wax seal" kinda deal all- the RSVP looks the same only smaller and its all in a metallic teal folder ( the background)
with a mesh ribbon ( which I had to cut into strips)
and a heart shaped brad to top it off
funny story coming from printing out all the folders the last few nights- if you ever wanna know-
ask me to tell you about how my printer seems to "sense evil"
