A full action packed week
but my most exciting part for me
the fabric came the fabric caaaaaaaaaammmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
today was the momentous day - I had to wait a whole extra day because of the public holiday ( stupid public holidays and lack of postal services on them- really not good enough :P)
now as you may, or may not, know .
I have a paper collection problem.but I have also had since a young child a sticker paper and pen collection issue
but it seems I have also inherited from my mother a fabric collection problem.... So that fact that so much yummy fabric turned up in a package on my doorstep..... makes my fingers itch that I don't get to play with it
heheh mmmmmm fabric..... its sooooooooo preeeeeeeeeeetttttyyyy
[gollum voice} *ooooooooh my precccccssssssssssioussssssssss*
anyhow back to the week from hell
I should know by now not to try and do anything the week before the house is meant to be settling.... cause it always goes wrong, but no
I haven't learnt yet so this week has seen
suit searching ( only a little bit and only a few stores)
phone calls to a zillion celebrants
meeting with chosen celebrant to see if we like her ( we do)
booking said celebrant
filling the same form out 5 times because one or the other of us stuffed SOMETHING up (ok so 4 of those times it was me- sue me! My mind isn't working this week!)
meeting with dressmaker ( 5m of fabric, 5m of lining, 3m of boning, 2 zips, and 1.5m of "shapewell") she's quite impressed with the dress choice
about 30 calls to and from the finance guy and the lawyer-- and a few irate ones to the bank
an Australian day BBQ and birthday bash last night
an impossible *007* bond boardgame
ring shopping--- oh god this is going to be $$$$$ ( anybody know a reasonably priced stockist for a Z+2 sized titanium ring?)
found the ring I REALLY like today -( its on 50% off sale too ;) )
the movers on Wednesday (taking 8.5 hours to move what really didn't look like a lot until we got it into this already full house)
several screaming and swearing fits as I cleaned out a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaly bad infection in marks finger ( that'll teach him to bite his nails so badly and then go in a disgusting festering moldy slimy pool without gloves)
shopping for the lining zips boning and shapewell - so I can get it all to the dressmaker- (faye- she's a sweetie)
a trip to the dr's today- (to have said finger looked at and antibiotics prescibed)
and after months and months of searching I found ( and bought) the perfect coloured "blown glass'pearl' beads" and SHHHHH states secret... it was $2.99 a strand!!! bargin! so I might even end up making my own necklace for the wedding. I'll have a play and see if I like what I come up with
and yes of course I will post it all here (when I find the charger for my camera battery!) its been missing since xmas day (and I have 2!!!)
off to put my computer back together so I can contact the internet company and be able to post from my own house instead of coming over hear to mums every now and again!
hopefully next post will be the inaugural one on my computer from my side of the house!

Can't wait to see the pictures of the dress for real. It is a really pretty dress. Sounds like things are getting crazy, but exciting. I can't wait to see the beads and the necklaces. Hope all the final details of the house go through and you get it all done.
So, how about that pressie...
Haven't you ever heard, give a man a fish, he eats once, teach a man to fish he eats forever. Teach me how to put that header and links in will ya??
