6 days left
so.........
christmas day lunch is being held at our new house this year
there are 6 days left before 16 people 3 dogs and 3 cats will be in our house
the house is still in turmoil... the dining room looks like this

needless to say most of this stuff is mums- ours is in the bedrooms
not to mention that we are still living at the old house because it has been raining everyday and the house keeps going underwater..... well the patio is anyhow
the ammount of stess dealing with this has caused me to go into a flash of hives and cysty things
marks a nervous wreck and losing weight ( not technically a bad thing ) but not good for his health.
we have had a good reaction tho - about 20 viewings in 2weeks not too shabby
Anyhow even with the giant ex-pool hole in the ground we have some vaguely interested buyers ( no offers just vague interest) . the best one having come through today. an english accented lady and her son, she stayed a long time talked to me heaps and seemed fairly interested. they are from sydney and coincidentally her islander husband works as a truckie for P&O being transfered up here. she seemed to grasp the idea that the hole isnt a terrible thing... all that needs to be done is put a new pool in either above or inground.... wow someone with brains!
hopefully once the husband is up here on wednesday there will be a second inspection
so since there are supposed to be 6 days without a drop of rain we are relativly relaxed
as much as one can be with a house on the market!
my plans are:

Hey Jorgette!!
Thanks for finding my blog! Yours is ultra-funky!!!
Good luck with your *small* list!!! Reading yours makes mine pale in comparison! LOL I've at least started my shopping! hehe *And* we're sorting out the food stuff for xmas day tomorrow... so that'll be a load off as well! Hoping that I can just get away with providing the roast chickens and a salad!
Take care!
